After a very wet March and early April we were pleasantly surprised that the ominous day of Friday the 13th was in fact dry and quite agreeable for golf.........well it was for most even though the golf may not have been as good as it should have been. However there was one person - a certain Postman who had a few problems on the 10th hole. The delivery of his clubs to the green wasn't what he expected or to put it mildly he managed to lose his bag. Please do entertain yourselves with the video- please children do not try this at home.
Tim by the way had proudly announced to my good self that he had "rigged up a remote for his electric cart/trolley". "Sounds interesting" was my reply. Bloody damn sight more interesting than I thought! What a day!
Wish I had been in that group- lucky Wayne, Neil & Philly, even laughs for a year!
Winners on the day were our Beloved El Capitano in 1st place with 34 points, 2nd Dan Gatfield with 33 points and in 3rd Philly with 32 on countback.
Nearest the pins were Danny Hennessey and New boy Neal Horner.
Cannot remember who the team winners were!!
Anyway well done to one and all.

Tim 'Jacques Cousteau' Mountain has kindly set up a Par 3 challenge for the coveted 3 club hub cap trophy.
3 events at 3 different courses
18th May Aldwickbury Park - 15th June Mill Green - 17th August Chesfield Downs
First tee between 18:30 and 19:00 hours playing either 9 or 18 holes on the pitch and putt course with a curry afterwards.
All £14 per event.
