Results - Redbourn Golf Club - 9th March 2018

Well we had a great turnout for the first event of the year - 23 players in all. Albeit some just turn up, eh Wayne! Anyhow the day had been brilliantly organised by The Postman who had even gone to the trouble of printing out the cards beforehand which was very much appreciated by our beloved Captain as it meant he could order a full English and eat it without having to write out the cards!

The day went well , most people turned up on time and were ready to get going early doors and so we all managed to finish before the rain came in bad which was particularly lucky as the weather did turn much worse as we were all eating our sausage and mash about 4pm.

There were some very good scores on the day and handicap reductions have been forthcoming to some after this event, but also some have gained a shot back too- lucky old Dave B.

So the winners on the day were:

1st place  Dave "Spock" Bartlett - 39 points off 23
2nd place Postman Pat ( Tim Mountain) -37 points off 20
3rd place  Wayne Phypers - 36 points off 19

Well done to you guys for some excellent golf on the day.

Team Winners were : Dave "Spock" Bartlett, Rory Coutts, James Flemming.

Nearest the pins were John Coyle and Philly The Kid.

Numpty was Wayne!
