The course was in reasonable nick for the time of year, although the fairways were a little poor. Greens were quick and pretty true, but the scores didn't show tremendous golfing ability unfortunately.
We had some very poor scores in from quite a few. However it seems that most enjoyed the day and the presentation and the beers afterwards in the Chequers and Horns.
The winner on the day unsurprisingly seeing as he is the best golfer was Justin Bygraves (4) who pipped Reece Pybus. Both scored 36 points but Justin won on countback. we have adopted the recognised countback system. In third place came the ever reliable Mr Phil Nightingale with a steady 35 points. In last place on countback came Derek Espanol McNeil who came in with an average of 0.5 points per hole just pipping Jerry Gillham who also had 9 points.
Nearest the pins were Reece and Tim Mountain aka The Postman.
Team winners were Henry Mountain, Reece Pybus and Justin Bygraves.
