Results of Mill Green golf day and next event

Well folks we were very lucky with the weather on our first outing of 2015. There was one brave person even wearing shorts! Eh Martin ! Surprisingly the handicap committee had thought that the handicaps were pretty spot on, but we were very surprised by the results posted after a winter lay off. Yours truly thought that he would be on the podium, but sadly I was  kiboshed by a few (well 4 people) into 5th place ????

So the winners on the day were Rocky 1st (44 points) , 2nd Tim Mountain (43 points) 3rd Martin Thomas (42 points) and with a fantastic 40 points poor old Jerry "fancy britches" Hare only managed 4th which would have won on most other days. A gallant last went to Tom Blackwell who for only his 2nd/3rd round played very well. We had a great turnout (26 players) and most seemed to be on their game. Here are a few snaps of the round.

So all that needs to be added now is the next event, which is at Nazeing GC on the 1st May.
