Well folks better late than never..........here are the results from the Christmas Salver. Firstly many thanks to you all for turning out on the day. This was our highest ever turnout and considering that it was a tad cold the golf wasn`t alf bad. We had 35 on the day with a quite a few new faces who hopefully will make a showing during the course of this year. At the end of this blog there will be all the dates of this years golfing days and tours etc with a few more likely to be added if demand is there.
So the winner and only person so far to defend the title of Xmas Salver is Andy Wood who came in with a remarkable 39 points on the day. Second in his Santa outfit was Gary Burton (37) and third was Tim Mountain narrowly pipping Phil "the goatie " Barnes on 35 points.
It was a great day followed by a right good booze up in the Horns afterwards. I hope all enjoyed it and many thanks to Trevor and Steve for their respective speeches and presentations and to Rocky for his usual treasurers bits and bobs and also to our DSC photographer Danny Horne. Below are everyone's new handicaps or not as the case may be.
