Results for Nazeing golf club

What a fabulous course, the weather was superb and hospitality great.  Our beloved Captain Steve Corley would like to thank Jerry Hare and his friends for their attendance and jocularity on the day and he hopes that they can make it as with many other DSC golf members to the next event at Whitehill Golf Course on the 11th July 2014.

So getting back to Nazeing and the results......There was some decidedly average golf, some respectable golf and............some unbelievable golf!

In last place with a none too shameful score (for him) was Henry Mountain on 18 points, he would have had to take 32 shots off his score to have won, almost 2 a hole.  But getting to the winners on the day, in 3rd place on countback was Gary Burton off 9 with a very respectable 36 points, in 2nd place off 11 and coming in with 39 points was Kevin Tyler. And in 1st place off a handicap of 17 was

San Francisco Dave with 49 points!!!

With the longest drive was won by Mark Brownjohn, the nearest the pin by San Francisco Dave and the team was won by San Francisco Dave, Kevin Tyler, James Hunt and Steve Crisp.

Anyway well done to Dave for a great performance, amazing golf, please see below the new handicaps.
